Winners: People Development Award

We are extremely proud to have been declared WINNERS in the People Development category at last week’s Constructing Excellence Yorkshire & Humberside Awards (CEYH2021).

As a workers’ cooperative, employee voice is extremely strong and underpins our business decisions and activities. Investment in our members is one of our core principles. We go beyond what might be expected for an organisation of our size and resources, particularly in terms of training and continued personal development, so this award is testament to our commitment to our members.

The judges commented: “LEDA’s active commitment in promoting the wellbeing of their employees shone through. They have developed a culture of inclusiveness, mutual support, skills development and democratic decision making. It’s clear LEDA is an incredible place to work!”
