We respect and value the privacy of everyone who visits our website, we do not collect personal data about you unless you contact us. Any personal data we do collect will only be used as permitted by law.

- The right to access – You have the right to request LEDA for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
- The right to rectification – You have the right to request that LEDA correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Our Company to complete the information you believe is incomplete.
- The right to erasure – You have the right to request that LEDA erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
- The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that LEDA restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
- The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to LEDA’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
- The right to data portability – You have the right to request that LEDA transfer the data that we have collected to another organisation, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

4. Collecting Personal Data
Your personal data may have been collected through one of the following means: your use of our website; your email correspondence with ourselves or your company invoices. When you use our website, we may collect and process the following data about you: details of your visits to our website and the resources that you access, including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, information provided to us when you communicate with us for any reason.
If you are a Client or Supplier, we may currently hold up to five categories of personal information about you including: your name; business email address; business postal address; business telephone number; mobile phone number.
5. Holding and Use of Personal Data
LEDA collects your data so that we can:
- communicate with you by post, email, or phone and to inform you of our services
- carry out our contracted services
- invoice you for those services, or
- contact you regarding the services you provide for us
As a Client or Supplier, our lawful basis for holding your information is that processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are party to, or in order to take steps at the request of yourselves prior to entering into a contract. These contracts include contract for the provision of services to yourselves, and contract to supply goods and services to ourselves.
As a future Client or Supplier, our lawful basis for holding your information is legitimate interest.
The Co-operative occasionally sends emails, which are used to inform subscribers and clients about services. Some subscriptions may be manually processed through prior written agreement with the user. Subscriber data is held by email marketing software company MailChimp. Email marketing campaigns contain tracking facilities within the actual email. Such tracked activity may include; the opening of emails, forwarding of emails, the clicking of links within the email content, times, dates and frequency of activity [this is not a comprehensive list]. This information is used to refine future email campaigns and supply the user with more relevant content based around their activity.
Subscribers are given the opportunity to un-subscribe at any time through an automated system. This process is detailed at the footer of each email campaign.
6. Storing Personal Data
LEDA securely stores your data in the UK. It is fully protected under the Data Protection Legislation.
7. Sharing Personal Data
We do not pass your information to any third parties, apart from our business services partners to carry out the contracted services. We do not use any automated systems relating to your personal data. We do not use your information for profiling.
8. Accessing your Personal Data
If you want to know what personal data we have about you, you can ask us for details of that personal data and for a copy of it (where any such personal data is held). This is known as a “subject access request”.
All subject access requests should be made in writing and sent to our email or postal addresses, detailed in section 9.
There is not normally any charge for a subject access request. If your request is ‘manifestly unfounded or excessive’ (for example, if you make repetitive requests) a fee may be charged to cover our administrative costs in responding.
We will respond to your subject access request within less than one month of receiving it. Normally, we aim to provide a complete response, including a copy of your personal data within that time. In some cases, however, particularly if your request is more complex, more time may be required up to a maximum of three months from the date we receive your request. You will be kept fully informed of our progress.
