LEDA have been providing CITU with detailed PV modelling for their 110 dwelling and mixed use development in Little Kelham, Sheffield with Phase 1B-1D completed late 2016

The development with offsite construction is fitted with a Smart metering system and smart phone App developed by CITU that will provide the owners with cheap or free electricity when the site wide PV system would otherwise be exporting electricity of site. LEDA have provided detailed modelling of PV panel locations on site together with anticipated usage profiles and PV output allowing CITU to optimize the PV array sizes and Smart grid design.

LEDA have also provided detailed M+E designs for the buildings, where the very low heating energy requirements bring a need for carefully calculated and specified designs to avoid overheating and provide the right mix of ventilation and heating.

For this project we have been working with the architects and off site SIPP panel manufacturers in a BIM environment, providing 3D Revit drawings and interchanging information in IFC format.
